Jazmin Trenco joined Relman Colfax in June 2023 for a two-year term as a civil rights paralegal. Her work focuses on supporting the firm’s civil rights litigation and civil rights counseling practices.
Jazmin graduated cum laude from Pomona College in May 2023 with a B.A. in Politics and French as well as a minor in Chicano/Latino Studies. At Pomona, she was a student mentor for Latino/a/e first-year students and a liaison for the French department. In college, she spent her time volunteering and interning with various organizations dedicated to social justice causes close to her heart, including immigrant and refugee rights, affordable housing, and education equity. She interned at the ACLU of FL where she supported their immigrant justice campaign and organized community events that uplifted immigrant voices. She also provided English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring to refugees at a small non-profit called the Newcomers Access Center in Claremont, CA.
In her free time, she enjoys trying out new coffee shops, finding the best spots in the city to watch the sunset, and reading.
