Angela H. Kang is a 2024 summer associate at Relman Colfax, supporting the firm’s civil rights litigation work. Angela is a rising 3L and Max Berger ’71 Public Interest/Public Service Fellow at Columbia Law School. Angela graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, after which she worked in medical-legal partnerships and nonprofit direct services. At law school, she has helped write a Supreme Court amicus brief in the Science, Health, and Information Clinic, enforce the ADA in an externship at the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division Disability Rights Section, and assist clients attain systemic justice through an internship at the New York Legal Assistance Group Special Litigation Unit. She has also competed in and coached the Gender and Sexuality Moot Court and serves as an Essays Editor for the Columbia Law Review.
In her free time, Angela enjoys exploring coffee shops, going to the movie theater, reading, and attempting to play tennis. Angela is bilingual in English and Korean.
